COACH DEVELOPMENT

Develop the coach.
Deepen the practice.

Growing as a coach requires more than developing skills.

We also need space to reflect on ourselves, our relationships with clients, and the wider systems in which we work.

Through 1:1 coach mentoring and coaching supervision, Arc supports both how we coach and who we are becoming as practitioners.

MENTOR COACHING

How am I coaching — and how can I strengthen my practice?

COACHING SUPERVISION

What is happening in the work — and who am I becoming as a coach?

TWO DEVELOPMENTAL LENSES

Both shape the coach we become.

Mentor coaching helps us refine how we coach — our skills, choices, range and professional competencies.

Coaching supervision helps us reflect more deeply on ourselves within the work — our relationships, patterns, ethics, use of self and the wider systems we are part of.

Together, they support more conscious, responsive and sustainable coaching practice.

1:1 MENTOR COACHING

Refine your practice without losing your own voice.

Mentor coaching offers a focused space to look closely at how you coach — your strengths, choices, competencies and developmental edges.

Through reflection on real coaching, feedback and experimentation, we work towards greater range, confidence and a practice that feels increasingly your own.

Mentor coaching can support you to:

  • strengthen coaching presence and partnership

  • deepen your use of professional coaching competencies

  • notice patterns and missed opportunities

  • develop greater range and your own coaching signature

Available as 1:1 mentor coaching for practising coaches, including support for ICF credentialing and renewal.

1:1 COACHING SUPERVISION

See more of the work — and of yourself within it.

Coaching supervision creates space to step back from the immediacy of client work and look again — at the client, yourself as coach, the relationship between you, and the wider system around the work.

It offers a reflective space to explore what may be difficult to see alone, while supporting ethical practice, professional resilience and the coach you are continuing to become.

You might bring:

  • a client or coaching relationship that stays with you

  • an ethical, boundary or contracting question

  • something you notice happening within yourself

  • relational, cultural or systemic dynamics

Available as 1:1 coaching supervision for practising coaches seeking an ongoing space for reflection, development and restoration.

ONGOING DEVELOPMENT

Development needs a rhythm.

MENTOR COACHING

Mentor coaching works best as a developmental process — with time to receive feedback, practise, reflect and return with new learning.

For ICF credentialing, mentor coaching comprises 10 hours over at least three months, including at least 3 hours one-to-one.

COACHING SUPERVISION

Supervision is most valuable as an ongoing reflective practice, rather than something we seek only when difficulty arises.

EMCC recommends at least 1 hour of supervision for every 35 hours of practice, with a minimum of 4 hours each year.

At Arc, we begin with a rhythm that fits your practice, experience and the complexity of the work — and review it together as your needs evolve.
