Try Easy.

Many people have an experience like this. When we are just by ourselves, we play well, be it tennis, piano, painting, or just anything. When someone is watching, we start to worry about how others will see us. This feeling creeps inside us within a split second and has an immediate impact on our minds. And, guess what? Things start to go wrong.

Our inner voice from the standard-setter* can sometimes serve us well, but it can turn us down if we try too hard to impress others or be perfect. A part of our brain shuts off to prepare the survival mode, which takes away our playful and creative energy. We create an invisible obstacle between us and what we want to achieve.

The best athletes know (or have a coach to tell them) how to become aware of that standard-setter inside all of us, accept it, release it, and then go back to who they are. That's when the sweet spot of flow energy can start to emerge, and beautiful sparks happen.

Don't try hard. Trust the process. Trust that we have God-given talents and know that wonders will happen for every one of us - when we try easy.
